A Super Hero Character in Air Dry Clay

Aisha AlBlooshi, also known as Wawee, is an Emirati artist based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates 1990. Graduated from Zayed University with a Bachelor degree in Visual Art, 2015.

She goes by the artist name “Wawee”.

Aisha’s artworks are known for their sense of nostalgia, childhood sentiments. The expressive figurines and dolls signify most of her artworks in order to capture a moment or to express some symbols and analogies. She believed that dolls could represent humans and they have the ability to deliver many emotions. Thus, she used them to reveal her observations, self-complexes, and inner thoughts.

In this project, you will create your own Super Hero character that expresses your culture and identity.

What does your national costume look like? What are the features of your character? Does it have long ears? Or it may have a square hand?
